I am trying to figure out if I am justified in the way I feel. I have a daughter with a guy, we never married. She's 13. He has a new girlfriend, which is fine. My problem is that his daughter seems to take a back seat. He last spoke to her by phone over 2 weeks ago and hasn't spent any real time with her in over 3 weeks. I know he calls and spends time with his girlfriend. Guys, are your girlfriends more important than your kids??????

Don't listen to anyone who passes judgment whether it's religious or not. Because just as many marriages fail as relationships and the fathers disappear.

Stuff happens. You had a baby who is now a 13 year old young lady. You love her and couldn't imagine life without her. As far as the father goes, there isn't much you can do about that. Just love your daughter. That is the best you can do for her. For some men their girlfriends are more important, and for some their not.

When you put having babies before a commited marriage this is the result. Sadly, the child is the one who pays and pays and pays.

I hate to say it, but that's what you get. There's a reason you should only reproduce in marriage. And it's not religion, it's more about commitment.

You picked him. That's who he is.
