You are motivated. Good for you. Stay motivated and good luck! Actually, you are cheating yourself with the white toast and bread because white flour is so bad for you and actually somewhat addictive (it will make you crave more, more, more). In the morning, stick with 100% whole wheat toast and note the calories. Maybe just one slice w/small amount of Smart Balance Light Buttery Spread, and a piece of fruit and non-fat or low-fat yogurt. Or, you can find Weight Watcher blueberry or cranberry muffins in the grocery store. That's easy---just grab one each morning with a fruit and/or yogurt and you are set. You'll soon burn those morning calories up. I'd use your peanut butter on celery sticks and save it for a mid morning or afternoon snack. At lunch if you have access to a microwave, I'd have a Lean Cuisine; if not, have a salad with tuna or grilled chicken--or make a sandwich with tuna on pita bread. Toss the cheetos--bad stuff. Try baked low-fat tortilla chips made by Tostitos or Guiltless Gourmet (I've heard Baked Bugles are good but I've never had those). Your dinner could be a protein meal, like chicken breast or fish and veggie. Easy: make chicken breasts ahead of time in the oven or crockpot; measure cooked ones for 3 oz., then put the cooked ones in zip lock bags and freeze them, then thaw them in the microwave for salads and dinners. Easy: bake a few salmon steaks and freeze them like the chicken breasts to have them on hand. Seem like a lot of work? Nah, just that one time you do all of this cooking and then you have chicken breasts and salmon available all week or more when you need them! Have a few Healthy Choice dinners (the turkey is great), and a few Lean Cuisines on hand. Don't forget how yummy salmon salads are w/Waldon Farms dressing or just wine or apple vinegar, tomatos, a "touch" of blue cheese (just a touch). Finally, if you crave sweets, always allow yourself a dessert at night, and in the grocery store frozen food section, there is always some yummy sugarless or low fat ice cream you could buy. My latest thrill is the Blue Bunny Sweet Freedom dark chocolate-coated ice cream bars in Raspberry Cheesecake (oh my goodness). In summary, stay away from white flour and oily fat-saturated foods. Eat lots of veggies, have fruit twice a day; and drink plenty of water. If you drink soda pop, get zero calorie soda pop. Keep exercising. Switch up your foods and exercises also so you don't get bored.

You may want to substitute whole wheat toast, or lose the toast all-together and have a bowl of plain oatmeal (with a teaspoon of brown sugar, if you want to add some flavor to it). Also, instead of soda, try a glass of your favorite fruit juice or a V8, and for dinner, try some lightly breaded chicken with a vegetable-side. As far as the exercise goes, take it easy on the sit-ups (100 a day will leave you in pain and exhausted), so you might want to split it up, doing 50 crunches in the morning and 50 before you go to bed. Drink plenty of water (nine glasses a day IS a good goal), and as others have mentioned, check with your doctor before you begin any diet and exercise regimen. Good luck, and good health!

That sounds pretty healthy to me but an easier way is to restrict calories by like 300, so instead of consuming 2000 calories, you'll be consuming 1,700.
To lose weight, you need to burn the 300 calories you've deducted. The easiest way to do this, is to Not join a gym [can be very expensive and you may feel insecure], but is to do 30 minutes-1 hour exercise per day. E.g walking back from work.. walking to the shops instead of getting the bus.
If you have any other concerns, contact a dietician or a doctor for more advice, and good luck with whatever decision you make =)!! xx

Instead of eating all white bread you should eat whole wheat or oatmeal bread. For breakfast you should have orange juice or some other kind of 100% fruit juice because you need more fruit in your diet. Your lunch is okay, but you should drink water instead of diet soda, which is bad for you. For dinner you should try soup, like the kind in cans, but you should buy the low sodium stuff, even if its more expensive. You could eat salads, too, with lots of dark leafy greens because you need more veggies. You need more protein as well, so you should have meat with diner, some grocery stores sell premade roast chickens that are really good. With this diet and your exercise you should burn fat and build muscle.

Substitute white toast with multigrain instead (it has more proteins and a better glycaemic index)
Substitute low fat butter with soy butter (it gives you omega3s and has no transfats)
Be careful how much peanut butter you use (1/2 oz would be fine)
Trash the chetos chips and eat SunChips instead (if you really have to eat chips)

You need more proteins in your diet or you'll eat your muscles away and your weight lifting will be NO USE.

Source of proteins: fat free dairy (better if organic), chicken breasts, soy food, fish (better if wild), shellfish, eggs (better if free range), game.

Eat flaxseed oil, walnuts and oily fish (without omega3s you wont lean out!).

You also need calcium to lose fat!

Finall, eat whole cereal and oat.

okay, you should add fruit or frut juice (natural, unsweetened) to your breakfast.
Your lunch has a bit too much fat in it, you could try cold cuts instead of white bread, no cheetos, but a granola bar instead or some fiber crackers, and some low-fat milk.
For dinner you can have broiled chicken, fish, lean cuts of meat, salads (you can add boiled eggs or tuna for protein), a nice homemade vegetable soup and one more serving of low-fat milk or low-fat cheese.
Your excercise routine sounds good, but try and alternate it with a couple of exercises that work areas of your body that haven't been worked yet, like abdominals, swimming or strenght training.
