Ok heres the deal, Im entering this model competetion in July and i need to be really toned for the swimsuit part of it. So obvioulsy I have to work out, but I need to change my diet too. So starting last week I made my portions alot smaller and stopped snacking when i watched TV or when I was bored. After awhile I actually didn't want to eat as much anymore! Now I only eat my three meals a day.Is this to strict? I want to look good for the competetion, but i don't want to jeoprodize my health. By the way, I don't feel weak or dizzy or anything like that.

I would say no your diet is not to strict and if you are already healthy and at a good bmi then you only need to consume what will keep you going and concentrate on toning. If it makes it easier make you meals in to 3,4, or 5 same amount of caloric, fat, carb and protein intake just split up so you don't feel the need to grab that piece of candy as you walk by the bowl. make sure you consume lots of water! if you need to snack eat fruit and veggies and try to cut off your eating at least a few hours before you go to bed IE. I go to bed around 11 I stop eating by 7. You sound like your doing good for yourself keep up the good work! Oh and to make sure you keep burning calories while sleeping try and do a quick workout before you go to bed!

i don't think your diet is too strict, but you might want to try having 3 small healthy meals a day and three small healthy snacks as well. for a snack you could have a yogurt, carrots, piece of friut.... such things like that. also make sure your getting enough protein and
drinks lots of water too that'll help keep you hydrated. hope this helps. good luck with the competetion.

The best way to do it is to eat MORE OFTEN so that you keep your body burning energy (6 small meals spread over the whole day, every 3 hours).
In order to lean out you need:
*lean sources of proteins (fish, shellfish, chicken breasts, fat free dairy) OR proteins with essential fatty acids (oily fish, game, soy food, legumes, organic dairy) - 1 gr per pound of weight
*complex carbs (multigrain bread and cookies)
*essential fatty acids (walnuts, soy milk, oily fish) - 3 gr omega3s a day
*sources of calcium (dairy, soy milk, almonds) - 3 servings a day
*1/2 gallon water a day
You might want to take some supplements (below). I do take CLA and it helps.

If you are eating healthy foods you are probably doing great! Just make sure your 3 meals a day doesnt include only cheeseburgers, or other fatty, un nutritional meals. Good luck! And I hope your competition goes well. Just remember to eat healthy foods, vegetables, fruits, healthy carbs, and of course every once in awhile you can divulge into something you love, just be smart about it. GOOD LUCK!!!
