how long does a domesticated duck live, normally?

It's entirely dependent on the care they recieve and the species. The Pekin lives only ten years average, while the muscovy lives to twenty.

Some sites claim that all ducks should live twelve to fifteen years. And with good care, they will. However, most don't. This is probably due to the fact that most ducks don't get veterinary care other than checkups for certification.

So, Normally a duck lives eight to ten years. It CAN live fifteen to twenty.

Depending on what kind of duck, 15-25 years.
The smaller ducks (i.e. Wood Ducks) will usually live longer than the larger ones (i.e. Peking Ducks).

I have domesticated ducks and one just died at seven years old. It all depends on what type of duck you have. Most of them live up to seven to twenty years.
