I'm going to give you one of my famous oblique answers. First, you should consider that the name you pick should shape the expectations you have for the child's life. We named our son Christopher Robin because we wanted him to love reading. (it worked) You can also honor your heritage, a beloved relative or friend, or just keep a name alive that is significant to you. After you get a list of these names, say them out loud in different combinations and listen to how they go together. Use them in a sentence, write a poem about them, and try them out on friends and family members. This will help you avoid embarrassing gaffs that usually don't show up until the child gets to preschool and comes home crying after being teased about their funny name. (nope, surprisingly, Christopher didn't get teased a lot and his girlfriends absolutely adored his name)

Next, and this advice is something I inherited. Figure out how much of a challenge the child is likely to be. You want to give this child at least enough names to get their attention. Some kids just need one, some need four or five (LOL) (if he or she is kicking your ribs out now and doing somersaults, this may be some indication)

Look at the etymology (historical background) of the names you have already chosen. This may help you decide as well. Never hesitate to honor a Mother, Grandmother, Beloved Aunt, Family Matriarch or Patriarch, or other significant figure in you or your significant other's life. Avoid political statements and puns. Simpler is better. Simpler to spell (or less likely to get misspelled) is even better.

Ohhhh, and always, always and always, figure out what the initials are likely to stand for before you make your final decision! You would never beieve what mockeries people can make out of acronyms.

All of that being said, I kind of like

Gabriella - on the positive side, it is the feminine form of the name Gabriel, archangel fo GOD. On the minus side, the child is likely to inherit the nickname Gabby. If the child develops a sense of humor this may not be a problem.

Julian - derivative of Julius, mossy bearded or soft haired, descended from Jove. Great Leader

Maybe try a relatives name , so the name has some meaning. It should also sound good to you , with the first and last name.
