Hinduism & Buddhism: reincarnation

Buddhism & Christianity: loving kindness = compassion

Christianity & Judaism: the Old Testament

Judaims & Islam: food laws

The wikipedia suggestion is good. Wikipedia is a good first resource for whatever subject you might want to study. Do look at the links on the bottom of each article as well, to dig a little deeper.

I wasn't going to answer this question because I didn't think I had any information that would be beneficial to you about faiths other than Christianity. However, after seeing the first answer you received I want to at least say that you will run into a great many people on this site that will do everything possible to degrade religion. I will not preach to you but I would suggest you try some of the web sites that speak of the various groups of which you have an interest. Just go to your yahoo or google browser and type in "Christianity" or Islam or Hinduism etc. It should bring up some options for you. Good luck with your project.

"Christanity and Judaism"

Judaism is the root of Christianity that had written in its text of the Tonakh the prophecies of the coming Messiah. As fortold, Judaism rejected her Messiah until the second coming. The gospel of salvation then was offered to the Gentiles, out of which came Christianity and the writings of the New Testament.

The last 3 should be easy enough. They all technically believe in the same god (God the Father, Yahweh, and Allah are supposed to be different names for the same being).

Both Hindus and Buddhists believe in reincarnation, and were formed in the same geographic region.

The link between Buddhism and Christianity is probably the hardest. There's the myth aspect, such as the tree of knowlege, and the plain moral aspect (But all religions share the same basic sets of morals in the end).

Click on the Answers button @ http://web.express56.com/~bromar/ and type in those names (Hindu, Buddha) and you will find some of the information you are looking for. Also check out the Free Stuff page on that site for further information under the "Apologetics" section like Josh McDowell's books and other places.

I do not know alot about some of the ones you named but Chistianity, Judism, and Islam all believe in the Same God but do it differently. Christianity believes Jesus is the son of God. Judism Believs Jesus was not the son of God.ANd Islam believe Jesus was a prophet and that Muhhamed is the savior. in reality the jewish were born from Issac Abrahams 2nd born. ant Islam were born of Ishmael Abrahams 1st born.

Don't lie, cheat, steal, murder are common to most. Be generous, help each other, respect your ancestors(elders), are also common. I think they all say obey the law of the land.
Live and let live appears a lot and so does the golden rule(do unto others as you would have them do unto you)

Sadly, Thomas is right...The majority of people that try to represent God follow that list to the letter...But as far as your question, the similar written word in most of those religions (if you had to sum it up in one sentence), is "treat others the way you would like to be treated".

Too bad most religious folks won't jump on that bandwagon...That's why no one believes in God anymore...But if I were the Devil that's how I'd keep things...Makes sense, huh?
