It is not an emergency but it is something that should be addressed by a vet. This is most likely a bacterial infection. If it is really itchy, it could also be something like sarcoptic mange. You should be seeing your vet for puppy shots soon, so ask the vet about these. You can shampoo and clean the belly to keep the amount of bacteria down. In puppies, they need to get a little infection with bacteria so that the immune system can start fighting it off. If it gets real bad, the vet can prescribe oral antibiotics.

First of all, a mall isn't the greatest place to get a pet. They're often not very well kept. (Kennels are better - they're not always completely healthy either, but most kennels care for their animals and you can save an animal from euthanasia if it's a shelter that does that). I'd say take her to a vet - it doesn't have to be an emergency vet, if it's not serious. It may just be a rash.

Hi! What I think it is call puppy dermatitis. It's a rash that starts out looking like prickly heat then progresses into small pimples with a puss filled center. It must be treated by your vet. In the mean time get a good antibacterial soap with no perfumes in it and wash your baby's tummy. Rinse her tummy off very well. Towel dry it. No blow dryer please.
This is very common in puppies!
Also what ever she is laying on should be clean and have no perfumes in it.
If you take her outside to go potty when she comes in wipe her tummy off with a clean towel so moisture is gone. Moisture only makes the rash spread.
Get her to your vet tomorrow!

I would definitely take her to the vet. Puppies in general have terrible skin, as their nutrients are working very hard to maintain the important, growing parts of their body, and often, the skin comes last in line. It could be something as simple as dermatitis, or it could be an infection. Either way, you should go to yoyr vet pretty soon. Most of the time these things wont clear up on their own. Treatment for these kinds of things is usually very very easy; they will most likely just give you some antibiotics and send you on your way. Best of luck to you!

First of all. Dont buy animals while shelter pets die. Often pet store pets do have hidden diesases because they come from cramped and gross conditions...called puppy mills. I would say take to the vet it sounds like a skin infection. Probably just a few antibiotics. but just take her to the vet.

Does she sleep on a little doggy bed? if so it could be just a simple rash that had gotten infected. You will need to take her to the vet to get the right medication to treat it, the medication doesnt cost that much and if she is sleeping on a little doggy bed wash it or wash whatever she is sleeping on ....

First I am not a vet or vet tech. Second I know your dog needs a vet. Third, why do you support puppy mills?
