I don't know but there is a good fiction book by Chris Ryan called flash flood which is about London Flooding

The Thames flood barrier has saved London almost 500 times (I think) However, with new technology it is feasible to build new one further east. I don't think London will suffer major flooding in my lifetime (born in 1972).
