Truth prevails ...but undergoes so many hurdles and hardships before the final verdict. There is a saying that there is delay in the temple of God.... but no denial. Our Puranas and Vedas ....
The Bible and Khuran all religious books are telling the same
Even the History shows many instances. .. even if the death comes before the truth succeeds.. there will be a feeling of success in the mind of the person who speaks and fights for the truth.. and the rest of the world will admire and remembers him as a great soul. To tell in short.. "Sathya suffers..survives and finally succeeds".

Truth always prevails and succeeds. Truths are eternal. Lies and deception are temporary. Despite mass propaganda of US to justify invasion upon Afghanistan & Iraq and mass killings, the truth will come out and succeed. When the falsity & lies go forward in the race, some people wrongly presume their victory but ultimately the truth alone succeeds always.

Someone's truth does. There doesn't seem to be any absolute truth that prevails, but belief remains, and belief is what makes "truth."

By the way, if you use the auxiliary verb "does" in a sentence, it's not necessary to add the "s" to the main verb.

This might be hard to swallow, but - in a as_per_history view at least - whatever prevails, ends up as getting named 'the truth'.

Think about it

In the final measure...yes. In the meantime, truth often gets kicked pretty hard. Bad things can and do happen to good people but be not afraid. God is in control and will eventually put an end to all this nonsense.
