This is so normal, to have "excess" skin, after losing so much weight...Why do you think, these people who can afford it just go and get all the excess cut off, from a surgeon!! But, they can afford it, and may possibly be too lazy to just "Firm" it up, unlike yourself!! Okay, do leg lifts as often as possible!! Especially in the back of your legs!! Just push your leg, (one at a time) backwards and hold, for about 10 seconds, holding onto like the kitchen sink, or a counter, or something strong, enough to hold your weight.. And then do the other leg, and repeat, until your legs burn!! And do this for like two days, take a day off, then again for three days, take a day off, again for four days, take a day off, and again for five days, take a day off, and then do it 6 or 7 times a week, and honey if you dont have things all tighten-up and in place, then "I'm a liar!!" And I'm not lieing here, so you'll be in shape before you know it, trust me on this one!!! Those backwards leg-lifts, my oldest daughter swears by them, and she has an "Awesome figure!!" And she even used to be an "Exotic Dancer" so she had to keep that Rump, up where it belonged for her income's sake, you know.. I just thank-God, she's out of that business now and has her "Real Estates License" atleast doing the "Exotic Dancing" paid off for her, in a "Rewarding Way!!" She got her mercedes benz, and the money to go too Real Estate School, from it, so it wasn't such a bad job for her to have, for getting ahead, and moving on in life, you know.. She hated her work, there anyway!! And had nightmares of men, staring at her, all the time.. So, I'm so glad she got out of the business!! But, she still keeps up her figure, with these types of excercises!! So, just do the above as often with breaks until your body gets used to all of that excercise and then begin keeping it up until it becomes easy, that's when you'll need to do more, is when it becomes easy, just dont forget that part, hun!! Okee-Dokee, hey "Good-Luck" to you, on your "Work-Out" regimine!!! Smile!!! You'll have that shape you've been longing for, before you know it, you'll see!! You have a "Wonderful day, for me, now!!" Smile!!!

Lunging squats - bar none. With weights - preferably on a smith machine. Start with 25 lbs on each side and work up to more.
Get your knee as close to the ground as possible. Peddle a stationary bike working off your heels adding resistance. Use a leg press and push with your heels. (there are no runners with big bums...)

All the people who said squats and lunges are correct. If doing squats and lunges bores you to tears, try a fencing class at the Y. Its all lunges, plus a bit of aerobic challenge.

If you'd like to kill two birds with one stone, cycling does a great job with quads and glutes also, plus you get the cardiovascular benefit.

lunges are great for those areas. try doing it whilst holding weights in each hand for better results. squats are also very good. again do this holding weights. these exercises however are not designed to lose weigh but reduce the appearance of fat by toning those ares, making them tight. to lose weight targeted around those areas you would have to run or cycle.

only one true answer my friend, Squats and lunges. Of course you can tweak to your ability such as leg press or whatever. but those major movements will tighten. good luck! remember SHUT UP AND SQUAT!
