That is what college is for. Working at MacDonald's does not require the knowledge of how a preposition is used. But kids want to be cool and drop out of high school. That is fine by me. I like fries with my burger.
Now I am trying not to be too judgmental. I make mistakes and when I write a quick note to a friend I will take short cuts. But I am also a playwright and I do appreciate the language when I write professionally.

Nope, our children are being taught how to score well on a stupid test to keep the politicians and teachers unions happy.
The ability to think, compose business correspondence and sound like an educated individual is being siphoned away.
But on a good note, the kids can go into teaching and help spread the illness!

Children are indeed being taught to write properly. They just don't apply it in life. Kids will write correctly as much as they need to in order to get the grade, but after school they jump right back into bad writing. It's sad, really.

Certainly. You're preserving it.
I rather pity schoolkids who will eventually discover that they're missing out on a college education, or not getting the jobs they want, or being held back at their jobs, because they can't communicate clearly.
If you have kids, encourage them to read, and read, and read some more. I firmly believe there's no other single activity that does so much to instill good communication skills.

Sadly, they aren't. I recently read a page my grandson wrote for his college entrance. It was as bad or worse than some of the writings on Y/A. But when I tried to talk to him about it he wouldn't listen as his teachers have all praised his writing abilities. I'm afraid the problem goes back further than the current students.

well when it comes to language
its just that u never know what u have to speak
unless u are completely mature about your thaughts
and when it comes to children they ought to know many words
which are bad or incomplete,so to avoid this circumstances
u must spen time on your children mainly for teaching them
correct pronounsation and language
