Ok I like this guy and now he hate me for something i said to his ex girlfriend that was a mistake, while i was in 8th grade. and after they broke up i put myself out there for him to notice that i was free. but instead he's going out with another girl and now im in 11th grade and he's graduating this year. should i apologize for what i said to the ex and explain to him what i meant to say or not and have him hate me for the rest of my life?

don't waste your time, you'll realize when you're out of high school, this all means nothing. if you put yourself out there and he didn't notice he isn't worth your time anyhow.

I wouldn't just apologize out of the blue for something you said three years ago. Try just starting a casual conversation with him and if he brings it up then offer an apology. But if he's really someone who would hate you for the rest of your life because of something you said to his ex-girlfriend in the 8th grade, is he really worth it anyway?

What you need to do is apologize to the girl. Then apologize to him for that. Then explain to him and her what you meant to say. I don't think it will make him go out with you. But you don't need a burdon on your shoulders for something stupid you did in 8th grade. Then he might like you as a friend now.

well i believe he has moved on since the 8th grade... if you need to apologize to him cause you want him well the apology is not worth the mouth it comes from... you should let him know though that this has been bothering you for so long and apologize if need be..

Yes, I mean, even if it WAS a mistake, still apoligize. If you don't, you'll spend forever thinking he is still upset with you. So tell him and get it off your back. So it's a yes- say you're sorry!
P.S. You may want to add that you like him because I mean he is going away practicly forever so tell him how you feel, also!
