Check with your pediatrician or family doctor before doing this. Whatever you put into your body will affect your baby as long as he/she is breastfeeding. Just not worth taking a chance on!

No one should do a "colon cleanse" ever, unless you are being "cleaned out" for surgery or an endoscopic exam. The colon does not require special cleaning and all the stories about pounds of fecal material "stuck" to the walls are nonsense, including the one about John Wayne. A copy of his autopsy is available and this proves this lie for what it is.
Enemas and laxatives really should never be used unless you are directed to do so by a physician. Frequent use can actually make colon function worse and make you dependent on them.
Very little is absorbed by the colon except water. Absorption of nutrients happens in the small intestine, not the large, so those claims are also wrong.
But to get to your specific situation, anything that is going to make you purge is also going to some extent get into your milk. Breastfeeding women shouldn't take anything, over the counter or prescription, without speaking to their doctor or their pediatrician. So not only is the cleanse pointless for you, it could make your baby sick and experience pain and cramping and diarrhea.
The best thing to do for real colon health is to eat a high fiber low fat diet, drink plenty of water and exercise moderately. It's also important to "go" when you feel the urge and not try to put it off. If you feel a bit constipated instead of taking herbs or laxatives or enemas, try increasing your liquids and try things like fruits and prunes that are natural, gentle languages.
There is probably more nonsense written about the bowels than any other part of the body and more quack remedies sold. For example, some programs and ads show pictures of what is supposed to be the material that was stuck to the colon or that was flushed with a colonic. The "colon cleanse" products often contain materials that form in the shape of the intestines and that is what is seen coming out.
Some claim to be flushing out gallstones, but all tests done on these "stones" either show fat globules or ingredients from the "flush" itself.
Strong laxatives of any kind, herbal or not, can be dangerous in some health conditions and lead to infection, perforation of the bowel and even death. One example is in appendicitis. Discomfort from the appendix has been misinterpreted by patients as from the colon and using laxatives or enemas can cause it to rupture, spilling pus or intestinal contents inside you.
If you are having stomach pain or bowel problems, see a doctor, not a quack selling a "cleanse." At best you are wasting your money and at worst they could kill you. And at the least avoid giving your baby that junk in your milk.
