For an electronics project.....?

I need to build a low cost circuit that has an AC output of 200 to 250 volts at between 0.8 and 1.2 amps and at 50 to 100 hz.
I designed one myself but it requires A 400 dollar transformer.

Is there anybody who can help me!!!!

Given the information that we have, I can't imagine you can't find a transformer for substantially less. I don't believe you have given us all the requirements.
