Monarch of the Glen was filmed in Newtonmore in the highlands further North than Loch Lomond, the tv programme Take The High Road was filmed at Luss, Loch Lomond, both equally beautiful but i would take the Highlands anyday, its breathtakingly beautiful up there. there are literally hundreds of little cottage to rent and i strongly believe your dogs will be way more welcome there too, contact the Scottish Tourist Board for a list of holiday cottages for rent that allow pets if you have difficulty finding any on line, Good Luck and enjoy your visit

Loch Lomand is pretty central, so you have a good few choice's try stirling - beautiful ! Be sure to visit Braveheart Setting, see William Wallace's sword and learn all about the English / Scotland past. Amazing photo opportunities !
Sorry I can't help with Monacrh of the glen setting!
A friend at work goes through a travel agents and somehow gets a log cabin with outdoor hot tub really cheap so maybe worth asking around few travel agents !

Knhereow wot you mean luv. I lived in a bender overlooking loch ness for 2 years in a place called DRUMNADROCHIT not far from inverness and fort william etc with three gsd,s and i can honestly say it was paradise for us 4. There was a landrover which doubled as a bus service for all the 6 people and it was the postman as well. Amazing place scotland is. In fact right opposite me on other side of loch stood a 95 roomed pink mansion. Guess who? That bloody hippy jimmy page. I couldsee him and clapton and old robbie plant sitting cross legged playing acostic guitars. I used to shout across the loch "Anything except stairway to bleeding heaven" jimmy boy.

I googled vacation cottage Scotland and were given extremely some diverse web pages, particularly communities contained in the sector. you need to probable link in with any of those. once you've vacation cottage Scotland on your information superhighway web site, it would pop up. It doesn't should be contained in the call. element out distances from different cities, so if a achieveable customer is wanting someplace in certain, your web site will pop up because you've reported that position. i'm informed that web pages with present day pastime pop up first, which i think, as if i'm searching for something truly older, it takes distinct scouring to discover it. to save yours present day, you would opt for to bypass surfing to it in many cases. possibly some different person would produce different concepts.
