In short, no, Jesus did not die on a cross, rather a stake. The origins of the cross are not christian.

What is your opinion on millions of people wearing a cross, when it is not even christian?

MR. Zwink, turns out that your absolutely right. That is why Jesus died on a stake and then constantine changed it! If constantine would have seen a greek sun cross before Jesus, he obviously would not have affected christianity with his lies.

And prays toward funky town, I don't care what the romans did, I am asking if Jesus died on a cross, and then responding my own question with why he died on a stake, and then asking why people still were crosses on their necks.

See the light: You obviously did not read the whole question. I know Jesus died, I am just saying he died on a stake not a cross.

By the way Mr. Zwink, constantine didn't really convert to christianity, that would mean he was christian, he was more into the Pagan atmosphere, along with the Catholic church if you ask me. (You can read about why Catholics are not christian in my source also.)

Too bad people don't go back and check questions to see if there are comments by the questioneer.

Jesus did NOT die on a cross rather he did on a torture stake. I feel its so sad and it shows how much a person really knows about the bible and they claim i know my bible, i know my religion i know this and that....But if they knew all of that why are they hugging a cross every day of the week?

Its laughable.

There's no evidence of anyone actually being nailed to a constructed cross that early in Roman history. It is more likely criminals where nailed to whatever tree of suitable size was around. The only mention of crosses are from later centuries in their stories about times past. No first century contempory references to cross building exists.

I'm Christian and don't wear a cross for a few reasons. However I understand that for the poeple who do, they do it as a way to show their love Jesus Christ. Of course there are those who do it just because it's a fad, and I cant stand that.

the cross is the symbol of the nexus, the unity of heaven and earth. This is what Jesus represents.
Sometimes the things people do are for the wrong reasons, but they turn out right.

i read 3 lines, and tbh cba arsed to rad the whole thing. as the very first line already mixes up some things. jesus had already been crusified, when the emperor saw a cross in the sky.

this convinced him TO CONVERT TO CHRISTIANITY.

Roman crucifixions were performed on a cross. You should check your history books.
