Okay so last night I was at the mall and me and my little sister had just bought shoes. My mom asked me to carry the boxes for the shoes.I heard my mom tell me to throw them away so I did. This morning my sister noticed something wrong with her shoes and my mom needs the box and reciept to return them. She asks for the box and reciept I remind her that she told me to throw it away last night, but she says she didn't.And now she's blaming me for purposely throwing away the box. What do I do???

Explain what really happened. Adults can say things and forget that did sometimes. My mom is the same way sometimes. Well, point that out. Tell her she might not know and you do. She's not always right just because she's older. And you was just doing what she said.

Don't argue with your mother. There is a lost battle right there. If you are able to drive or go to the mall with your sister only, then go there as soon as you can. If that was last night, more likely that someone in the store will remember you and believe your story and will help you with the shoes.Arguing with your mother won't resolve the problem. Taking care of it will.I am sure someone at the store will help you.Just go.

Adult forgets thing a lot; just forgive her. She can always return it without receipt. The store will make an even exchange. I'm sure the cashier remembers you at the store; just tell him/her that the receipt was accidentally thrown away.

your mom is weirld...but you should have made sure that your mom wanted it thrown away...considering it could be important later....Nothing you can but tell her that you were told to throw it away...you can go to your local trash collector or land fill and find the reciept...why would you throw away receipts anyways??? Keep them always...even for groceries..you may never know
