Jehovahs' witnesses - The reason why we go to your door?

Question

I have heard people say they don't like it when we go door to door, but why? Honestly it's like if you had a cure for a disease that infects millions, would you just keep it to yourself? No you would go tell everyone you know right?

Ok So that being said, we have the cure for all who are suffering, so why would we keep this cure to ourselves? that would be selfish and greedy.

On top of that Jesus commanded us to keep this preaching work going (acts 10:42), so to all you "christians" Why are you not doing what Jesus commanded to do? Wouldn't that be wrong not to do something Jesus has said? Of course it would
So why do you persecute us, and hate us for something that Jesus told us to do? that makes no type of since, if you really love your God, you would see we are doing his will.
Our God Jehovah sent forth his son Jesus, and he did this work as well and Jesus told us at john 15:20 that they persecuted him and they will in our time. So knowing all of this why do you get mad?

1. we don't take money like your preachers, no one gets anytype of money, whereas if your in christendom if you don't donate you get kicked out of your own church, you have to pay for baptisms, weddings etc. We pay for NOTHING, we take No type of money.
2. We don't sell anything, everything we do is free.
3. If Jeus commanded us wouldn't that mean if you didn't do it he would be displeased w/ you? Its funny how you all don't listen to "GOD".

I am studying now with Jehovah's witnesses.
Being an Indian and with lot of superstition surrounding me it was difficult to think otherwise from being a Hindu.
But to me the knowledge that I gained from studying the Bible is tremendous and it set me free of many things.
It clearly helped me understand the difficulties that we face unnecessarily and protects us from worrying for this worldly things.
I look forward to being a Jehovah's Witness to serve the true God and devote my love for him.

It's A Choice. You and your Religion choose to go to door to door. That's fine, it is your right to do so. But on the other hand, it's our right to get angry. When I go Home, as soon as I walk in the door. I want to shut the real world out. My home is my safe spot. If I choose to go to church to pray to God, I'm making that choice. I don't have the Preacher, Rabbi, And ETC. Coming to my door. When I lived back in my hometown, I had to call the police. Because a group of Jehovah's' witnesses kept Returning to my apartment, at least 5 times a day. I actually had to call the police, because of this. If I Made A Choice the first time, why did they have to keep returning. That's not right to me, I Gave them some time. They should return the respect, and not try to force religion. This is my Opinion.

For those that lack spirituality and faith, then bringing them the word of God is a wondrous thing. However, there are many that have embraced their own beliefs and are very happy with them. To have our free time at home interrupted by door to door people, is annoying. (Personally, I hate the 'drop-in'. My family doesn't just 'drop-by' they respect my feelings.) Perhaps if the Witnesses were to send out mailers that say 'we will be in your neighborhood on such and such a date' then interested people will be prepared for you visit.

In Acts 10:42 it says to preach the word of God and witness to the thing s done by God in judging the living and the dead. It does not say that you go from house to house to sell your magazines and other books. You are not told to sell such books but to teach the word of God from the bible. is it coirrec t?

First of all, stop telling people that if we don't become jehovah's we are going to hell. Second of all, for all you people who want them to stop knocking on your door, here;s a way: Tell them that you're Jewish! My jewish friends told me that Jehovah's hate jews and if you tell them you're jewish they wont come back....

and another thing, jehovah's are brainwashed!!! Life is about being a good person and caring about others....it's not about following your ways to go to heaven!!! So if I get a blood transfusion TO LIVE, Im going to hell...that's fine, I'd rather go to hell than spend my eternity listening to your nonsense!
