I am looking for a site where you can search for other military people you may have served with. I need one where like you can enter like last names and maybe the years served. I don't remember a lot of first names. Is there a way that maybe one can get a hold of records for a certain unit for a certain time period? I am looking for Johnson Barracks from 82-84 A-Co as well as looking for Ft. Irwin Ops Group from 84-86.

Thanks for all the help

here is a sight where I have found alot of my old buddys since I have been in. You should be able to get an Army Knowledge Online email account and be able to look them up that away as well. Hope this helps and thanks for defending our country.

You have to go to the National Archives and Records Administration or if it's your own record or a family member that's deceased, you have to complete a SF-180 (Request Pertaining to Military Records and send it to the address on the back of the form.

Classmates.com, Reunion.com are both good sites. My old first shirt found me that way. Another guy that I was stationed with contacted me through classmates, and it turned out we both worked for the same company in an entirely different state, in the same building for years and didn't know it. Small world.

Please, if you find the answer, pass it on to everyone you can. I haven't served but alot of people ask this one. It would be nice to say thank you and talk to some of you. I grew up in military family, every branch so far as I've found. I don't think my family has missed one! LOL When I get asked about what "branch" it cracks me up.
THANK YOU FOR MY FREEDOM!!!!!!! LOVE ALL OF YOU!!!!
