In Pilot talk a Bogie is a unknown plane. A bandit is a known enemy plane. Any plane can be called a bogie until you can identify the target.

Bandits are visual sightings. Bogies are radar images.

yeppers, bogies are 'unseen' but high suspect as enemy, bandits are IDed as bad boys

I don't think they are any, but they are both used dog fights (plane vs plane).
