Does anybody in UK own a Boerboel? or know anyone that does?

I would like to know everything possible about the breed as they look like a really nice dog. Any info will be appreciated.

My friends back home has them and yeah they are the most amazing dogs. They are playfull and friendly and so very gentle with kids.
