As a mother, she probably has a lot on her mind. Adults are full of thoughts and stresses, more than when they were your age. She doesn't want to burden you with it and she can't talk to you because she needs to sort out the problems. Maybe you can ask her if she's the one who needs to talk about things.

Write her a letter. Telling her how you feel.Do something else "productive" as well. Something that she wouldn't expect - like cleaning the baseboards or something else trivial - her ironing, scrubbing the bathtub, extra credit homework? Let her know you feel neglected and are really trying to communicate with her. You both need to deal with this now because it will definitely manifest when you are older and affect your relationships. You are doing really well to identify this already. XOXOX

well if your mom won't listen anytime you try to talk to her...I would suggest writing a letter to her and explain how you've needed to talk to her and she's always brushing you off telling you to be quiet and do something productive*, so that is what you're doing. Being quiet writing her a productive letter explaining how she is making you feel*
Tell her in the letter.........If you can't talk to your mom....WHO can you talk to *
GOODLUCK* hopefully that will shake her into reality .....having to read a letter rather than sitting down with you to talk.
Keep on trying to communicate with her* GOODLUCK*

That's sad I would write her a letter about how you really feel and leave it for her in the bathroom or something If she does not want to talk to you do it this way she may not relize what;'s she's doing to you. She may be going through a hard time and you may not know about. Please tell her how you feel Good luck Friend :)

Depending on your age, maybe you could shoe your mom that you are responsible and can get things done on your own. Don't rely on her for EVERYTHING. Or ask her for her advice. Maybe she feels unwanted and unloved.
