The guy is about 30 years old and is a teacher in my school.I like him so much that I would like to get involved with him

humans tend to have crushes on other humans........ kinda the way things go
not sure if maybe your concerned about age or something
regardless, most of us have crushes on or feelings for people who are out of our reach at one time or another.
no need to feel odd about the whole thing

Nothing is wrong with you. Cushes come and go at your age, just be VERY careful what you do with this crush. 1st of all it would be unethical for this guy to get involved with you becouse he is a teacher at your school.2nd as an 18 year old girl chances are pretty good you are not going to feel the same about this guy in a short time and anything that may happen now, will be very difficult for you to handle the consequences of later. Please don't think I am trivializing your feelings (I am not) only time will prove to you that you should enjoy this crush in your head for what it is but persue something more valuable to you with someone your own age. I wish you the very best.
