I didn'tgo to Prom last year at my old school but this year I really would like to go. Since I'm not dating anyone, my friend suggested I ask our guy friend who I feel close two even though we met earlier this year. He knows I like him so how do I make it clear I would like to go with him as friends and nothing more than that even though I have a crush on him. He's cool with me liking him and real nice about it. My other friends either live too far away and couldn't come or are immature. How should I ask my guy friend?

Just ask him like asking a friend. Do it casually but nicely. It's that simple. Just do it.

ask him, just make sure he knows it is just friends. I did this for my high school prom, the poor guy rented a limo, room and all he was all for it lol, he was just expecting way more, then I was.
