If God existed without question surely it (God) would have produced a miracle beyond human comprehension. (Please, (especially Christians) do not insult my intelligenge with a reply like it(God) created any of the following:- Life forms, Humans, Animals, Planets, The Universe.

I say this because there is a distinct possibility that; wait for it....
God does not, and has never existed and that the Universe and all it contains exists without a creator or a God.

Okay, back to the question. Surely God would have created something on this planet that was simply amazing and uncomprehensible to humans. Something that defies the sciences. The resurrection of Jesus does not count in my opinion as it was apparently/Allegedly so long ago and witnesses cannot be corroborated. Surely God would have made Jesus come back to life and made it so that he lived forever for all to see, touch and believe? To not do this is inconceivable is it not?

You wish an example that "defies the sciences," but the sciences work incrementally, accepting interim world views based on data that is never complete. Science is learning new things all the time. The very fact that basic theories of physics are still being radically reworked and theorized upon points to complexity beyond the complete comprehension of man. If you think that we alredy know everything about the Earth, you're oversimplifying and missing things. You're right that there is the possibility that there is no God, and it seems likely that the God worshipped by many major religions is a uniquely human construct to explain why there are things we cannot explain in the natural world. But by that very token, we can only attribute works to God. We cannot even define the God that many men believe in, so we take the things we can't explain and either try to work them out scientifically or simply accept them and attribute them to God. Neither of these roads proves anything with respect to the existence or nonexistence of a God or Gods; no miracle could possibly do that, as the religious would simply believe harder and the scientists/atheists/agnostics would simply look for a natural explanation of the miracle and perhaps conclude it came from a more advanced science than we as humans now possess...

PHYSICS professor Ulrich J. Becker, of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, stated when commenting on the existence of God: "How can I exist without a creator? I am not aware of any compelling answer ever given."

Did this contradict his scientific views? The professor's thought-provoking answer was, "If you discovered how one wheel in the 'clock' turns—you may speculate how the rest move, but you are not entitled to call this scientific and better leave alone the question of who wound up the spring."

Contrary to the opinion of some, many respected men of science do not rule out the idea of there being a God—a Great Mastermind behind the creation of the universe and man.

Consider two more examples on this point. When mathematics professor John E. Fornaess, of Princeton University, was asked for his thoughts on the existence of God, he replied: "I believe that there is a God and that God brings structure to the universe on all levels from elementary particles to living beings to superclusters of galaxies."

Physics professor Henry Margenau, of Yale University, said that he was convinced that the laws of nature were created by God, adding: "God created the universe out of nothing in an act which also brought time into existence." He then noted that in the book The Mystery of Life's Origin, three scientists explain that a Creator is a plausible explanation for life's origin. Supporting this view, astronomer Fred Hoyle has stated that believing the first cell originated by chance is like believing that a tornado ripping through a junkyard full of Boeing 747 airplane parts dismembered and in disarray could produce a 747.

To these answers can be added the words of the Bible writer Paul: "[God's] invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world's creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship."—Romans 1:20.

I hope this answer doesn't 'insult your intelligence'. There is also a scripture in the Bible that says "The fool has said in his heart, there is no God." and another that says at James 2:19 You believe there is one God, do you? You are doing quite well. And yet the demons believe and shudder.

Probably because no matter WHAT God does, there will be someone like you in a few hundred (or a couple of thousand) years saying that it "does'nt count" because it happened SOOOOO long ago. And yes, the Ressurection does count, wether you want it to or not. There were hundreds of witness' corroborating each other. If it did'nt happen, then an awful lot of people died for what they KNEW was a lie. Nobody dies for what they know to be a lie. Modern day terrorists do not count, because they are not in position to KNOW if what they believe is true or false. The earliest Christians were. They knew Jesus BEFORE and AFTER His death. Nothing could make them change their minds on THAT. Your problem is the same as all of Mankind. Its Willful Unbelief. No matter what God does. You either take Him at His word and accept His Son, or you DON'T! As Jesus said, "Blessed are you (Thomas) because you have SEEN and believed, but (more) blessed are those who HAV'NT seen, but still believe".....theBerean

God does not really have to prove His power to us. If we dont want to follow Him just by the things He has already said and done (and still does) then He isnt gonna go out of His way and practically beg us to follow Him.

The things u mentiond like that he created humans and the earth and so on ARE His great workes, even if u say it isnt. The only reason why u dont see them as wonderful is because u have become so used to them that they seem normal to u. Just like TV in rich countries, for people it is normal, part of life. But in poor countries, people dont have minimum requitements, never mind TV's and think it is very special.

He is sad if someone doesnt choose Him, but he isnt someone who will run along behind us trying to convince us with great works and such, He doesnt need to humilliate Himself by trying too hard. The fact that you didnt get hit by a car the last time u stepped out of your house should be enough for u. Are we humans not selfish to think that God owes us something? We dont realise how big He is and how small we are.

He gave us a brain to think with, and freedom to choose Him or something else. If we choose something else, He doesnt give up on us, and He is very sad, He cant protect us or help us, but he isnt gonna force us with some miracles and great workes.

God's love for us is uncomprehendable, it is not the same kind of love that we as humans experiance, and even though a human wont just leave a person they love dearly, even if that person hurts them a lot, this is the way it works with God. If a person keeps turning him down, keeps breaking His heart, He cant force that person and He cant be with them either.

"We live by faith and not by sight, for you, were living all for you"
This is a part of the song that I love. There are many proofs that God really existed. Many miracles in fact, even just here in the Philippines you can find thousands of miracles done by God, the Healing Spring which is said to be blessed by God, the blood crying Marry, the Dancing Saint, the People blessed by God to perform healing and Lots and lots.

When Jesus, the Son of God, walked the earth, He performed many miracles beyond human comprehension but most people did not believe. It would be the same today. I don't need a miracle demonstration to believe. That's what faith entails.

What you are looking for is right under your nose! You said don't insult your intelligence, but creation is a miracle! I mean no offense, but its true. You say that the resurrection of Jesus doesn't count either... you're denying all the things that answer your question, in my opinion. Its like saying "Prove to me there is no bread" but then adding "I don't want to see a loaf or a slice or a crumb." Kinda like that, anyway...

We were commanded twice in scripture to be perfect.
Why?
Because God wants us to return to live with him. We were sent down here to earth to learn and grow, and to be given an opportunity choose to follow his word. Every thing he does is to help us to get closer to him.
God wants us to follow him, to understand him and to be like him. He does not want to confuse us.
He has however given us a miracle beyond comprehension.
1. All mankind no matter what their background even Kain thanks to Christ will be resurrected.
2. Thanks to Christ we can repent of our shortcomings.
3. He has granted us the Holy Ghost to help guide us back to our father in heaven.
And the funny thing about those things is that most people will not realize how truly miraculous they truly are. You could spend a lifetime devoted to studying nothing but the first 2 on that list and never fully understand them. I won't even get started on the 3rd.

What it all comes down to, really, is the fact that IF a god like the god described in the bible actually, really existed, "he" would be in constant communication with humankind. "He" would talk to us in plain English, or whatever language we speak. "He" would not leave such valuable "truths" to a small bunch of unsophisticated, imperfect and biased men, thousands of years ago, and all their translators and interpreters, to carry forth his most important message.

Please go back to school and learn to write correctly. I give your grammar and style an F-. Like all atheist, you cannot write very well and you cannot see the miracles of God going on about you every day. Stop acting like a high school dropout and grow up.
