(1) Tell them you are gay, and you're leaving to live with your 52-year-old "friend" Rolando.
(2) After they either (a) come to from their fainting, or (b) stop
screaming and freaking out, tell them the truth.

Just tell them it is to late for you to undo what you have done, it would be wrong for them to find out you have joined a hard way, and they might notice when you leave that you haven't come home or called.
Trust your parents enough to still love you no matter what choice as an adult you have made they may not like you going into the military because of the danger involved at this time, but they will be proud of you just the same.
I am ex military and I don't like what is going on in Iraq but if one of my children where to tell me that they joined I would still love them and worry about them and be proud of them.

I know right them a letter then put in their room while they are sleeping then find something to do all day to give them time to think. Make sure you included why you want to join the army and why its important to you, and dont forget to tell them you love them.

why do you ask this question?
was there any argument between you and your parents? have they asked you not to join the army? if yes, you need to sit on a round table with them, then you will be able to tell them your reasons for joining the army

instruct them a variety of recruitment categorised classified ads. My dad is interior the army and loves it! in fact he basically enlisted for yet another 4 years or replaced into it 6. hi turning out to be a member of the militia is a ideal element to do in the time of tough circumstances, like now.

Well first of all, God Bless You. Thank you for supporting our country. That is great! I suggest to start w/ small talk. Talk about what is going on in Iraq, do some research. Next say that you want someone in the family should support America, then tell them. I promise that it will be okay. God bless.
