when I saw this question I knew the Zionist or maybe uninformed Americans would respond to it negativatly, and claim poor Israel is only defending it self, I can understand the Zionist answering in such a manner as they are nothing but gangesters and murders, did they also not run the mafia for so many years?
the true Americans who responded to this question evidently have not read any thing escept the Zionist rag they call the new' media which they own , and their T,V, Stations, it seems they would get their heads out of the sand and read some thing that wasn't so bias, and if they ever went to lebanon or Palestine and saw the carnage as I have seen they would want to string up every Zionist in this country and the politicians who support them,the real Jew's in Israel and many of their own military are against these atrocities,as has been televised,
so many will blame the Palestanians, saying if they stopped bombing Israel that would solve the problem??don't they see that when the Israeli'sstay 20 miles away and send in missiles to kill them men women ,children, the old etc, the only way these people can fight back is to strap on a body bomb and go into the midst of the Israeli's and blow them selves up and hopefully a few of the Israeli's, then our people call them cowards?? how when a person is willing to die to fight his enemy can you call them a coward? and when you take a mans country ,home , business, destroy every thing he ever held dear in his life what has he got to live for, you have just made a suicide bomber, can't these people see this? How many Americans would have the courage to do this?? where is our sense of fairness and humanity? surely these people have some feelins of compasion for other human beings, and how can you blame them from hating us enough to want to kill us also, we have supported this evil Zionist carnage for over 50 years, and these people will not give up as long as there is life in their bodies, and why should they, they damned sure don't have any thing to live for and no future for them or their off spring, is our people this evil??

The first thing they did was start firing rockets into Israeli civilian areas. Then they left a stinger site on a popular beach and, when it exploded, killing seven Arab civilians, they immediately blamed Israel. The media lapped it up. Then they abducted a couple of Israeli soldiers.

It's possibly the wrong sort of board for the question. It is too vast a subject for here. In my opinion the Israelis deserve Israel. When you look at the size of it, not much bigger than Wales and then compare that with 57 countries the arabs have, Israel is like a cabbage patch. There would be peace if the Palestinians got on with their lives and made a superb tourist spot with the part of the shore they have. Billions were poured into Palestine in the past decades only to be hived off by Arafat who invested it in Swiss banks,. His wife/child live in utmost luxury whilst Palestinians are skint. No, Israelis don't commit murder, the suicide bombers...the palestinians do. I'm UK btw.
And for Jamesw further down, are you not aware that the Lebanon was a Christian country in the 70s, look what the arabs/muslims have done to that, yes arabs want the whole world don't they?

It seems to me that most of those who are answering this question are not looking at the historical antecedents of these conflict between Israel and Palestine. Somebody says giving the land back would be improper since every other country does that in the past. The truth is that there is no one single country in the world that is still been treated the way Palestinians are been treated by the Israelis. Their activites are still been controlled by the Israelis. The President has to get clearance from Israel before he travelles. Their eonomic activity and development is limited to what is allowed by Israel in their own land, and you want peace to reign between these two people.
The other painful aprt of it is the restriction on the Holy Shrine. Before now Muslims can go there and worship at designated times, but recently Muslims of some certain ages are barred from going to this Shrine including Israeli Muslims. This is definately a deliberate attempt to cause chaos.
And inspite of all this and other atrocities committed by Israel it has gotten the support of US at all times. They have been carrying on with their rampage untill they were taugth a bitter lesson by the Lebanese Hizbollah recently. God Purnish them and destroy them all and other enemies of Islam and Muslims. Look, the Palestenians have used a brilliant tactic of attacking solidiers among civilians, then hiding among them. This causes ISraeli overreaction when they intentionally attack Israeli civilians. The IDF is then forced to go into Gaza, and find these terrorist who attack among civilians, causing casualties. The Palestenians bring this upon themselves by not accepting peace in 2000-01.
Even Prince Bandar has said that all death ISraeli and Palestenians are not justified since 2000-01 because Arafat commited "A Crime," by not accepting that.
