Albert Brooks proved conclusively that when we die our lives are reviewed by permanent universal forces in to determine if we have overcome the debilitating effects of existential earthly fears. If so, we are permitted to move forward in the universe; if not we are sent back to earth to once again come to terms with the angst of earthly existence. So, we MAY or MAY not return to earth after we die, depending on how well we have been able to achieve mental and spiritual serenity and balance. So, if you want to move forward in the universe and avoid repeating existence on earth, please "face your fears".

I know everybody believes different things but I personally am a Christian and believe that when you die you go to spend eternity in Heaven with Jesus Christ if you have accepted him as you Savior. I really hope this is what you believe, but if it is not then hopefully this answer will spark your interest and maybe you'll look into it.
Here are some sites that might help you in your search:

Here are some great reads on the subject:
The Case For Christ by Lee Strobel
A Ready Defense by Josh McDowell
and of course The Holy Bible
I truly hope this helped you and if you have any further questions, feel free to post them on yahoo!answers and I'll check for them! =)

Some people believe in reincarnation. Only God knows what really happens if we die. The answer is in our heart. Faith. Believe and You will see. But for me, I'd rather choose to be in heaven and live my eternal life with God than to live a life in this chaotic world all over again.

No one knows for sure what happens when you die. Some people claim to know, have strong feelings, or even recollections of an after death experience, but those things are not considered to be anything more than dreams.
A red flag should appear in your minds-eye anytime someone tries to tell you they know for sure, because the simple fact is that no knows for sure about life after death. They may think they know, but that doesn't mean anything except for what they strongly believe in.
The way I look at it is like this. Treat others the way you'd like to be treated and you won't have to worry about it.

I do not really believe we come back, but I like the theory. So, to theorize, I think we would keep learning. I would hope that what we learned would somehow instinctively stay with our soul and help in a next life....

No one really knows. However, I believe that you don't BACK, you go to heaven or hell, and you live your second life there (in which you never die).

I personally believe that we do. This is because I often feel that I have been here before and want to think that we live a "everlasting" life.
But I can't prove it.

They say there is reincarnation but has anyone really shown proof of this? I guess we'll never know in this life.
