I am naturally a dirty blonde. Over the years I have dyed my hair alot. I went a dark burgundy red for a while and decided I wanted to go back to blonde. I kept buying those walmart hair bleaches and turned my hair every color of orange you could think of. I kept dying it and bleaching it trying to get it blond until I fried it. It cost me 200.00 dollars at a salon to get it fixed at least a little. I decided to go back dark red about 4 years ago knowing I would not attempt to bleach it by myself again. Well now I am tired of it and would like to be a blonde again. I figure I will just have to go to a salon and get it done. If I thought there was a way to do it myself without frying my hair or turning it weird colors I would save the money and the time.

Ok...go do that then. Definitely go to a salon if you're not confident with bleaching. What was the question here?

Certainly you know from experience that your hair can get totally fried from bleaching. Knowing this you should, if your determined to go back to blonde, start conditioning your hair with protien strengthing products. Consider a new hair cut and I mean Hair Cut because even with proper conditioning much of the older lengths of your hair may become too damaged to care for. Ths advise is given regardless of whether you attempt it or seek professional salon help. Either way going back blonde can be done gradually i.e highlighting or drastic i.e prelighting and toning with color. There are many techniques and formulas for achieving a blonder or complete blonde look. Find yourself a stylist that you can trust to get you the look you want.

If you have gone through this much trouble, wear a wig.I mean, it has taken you over 4 years to decide a hair color. Get a wig.
