Jump roping is a great workout...it tones your calves and if you do it for a prolonged time you can get a great cardio workout. You can really work up a sweat and burn some calories with jumping rope.

It gives you a great aerobic work out and gets your heart pumping more and your lungs working more etc. Plus you will/can lose weight and add flexibility. Just make sure you wear good sneakers and inner soles.
