I've been dieting really hard all week...like barely eating. Friday night I had salmon, a small serving of pasta and some bread. After about 10-15 minutes, everything started feeling "far away"...I couldn't focus -- I felt disjointed, and I dropped to the floor. I could barely speak, couldn't focus, was shaking (husband said I looked like I had no control of my upper body). Afterwards I was really thirsty for some reason.

Tried to work out later that night and after about an hour of working out, the same thing happened, although not as bad.

Last night I had a big dinner (outback) and it happened again.

Background -- I do have a brain tumor. It's a pituitary microadenoma, which means it's really small, so it shouldn't be playing a role in this. I'm fine pretty much the rest of the day if I'm not eating.

Were these seizures?

Geez, that must be scary. It sounds like it could be seizures, and sounds like you should go to emerg at your hospital and explain this situation immediately. 3x in 24 hrs. is a lot! I wouldn't take any chances, maybe your tumor is changing/growing, maybe you have epilepsy, whatever the case, seizuring isn't healthy, and there are meds you can take to prevent further seizuring. If you are working so hard to get your outer body in shape then you shouldn't have a problem taking care of your inner body either. Please..go seek professional HELP! Good luck

It sounds to me like an epileptic seizure, you should go to your doctor and have them run tests to see if the tumor is growing. In the meantime, Do Not drive a vehicle! You could have another while driving.

Could be. I would suggest you consult a neurologist. If I recall, there are different kinds of seizures like petit mal and grand mal. Yours could be a petit mal.
