I feel a little woozy, cant breathe thru my nose... husband was sick all last week (got it from him, b&stard) Would it HELP or HURT if I work out today? (and I definitely don't feel like doing it)

No - I felt the same way once and a friend advised me to try to "sweat it out" - and I was then laid up for a whole week. Having fluids are the most important thing, and anything you do to dehydrate yourself (like working out) will hurt that.

I think you should take a rest, and reserve your energy for getting better!

Found a site on the net with some info that might help you decide.

I think that the work out can wait :-)

Yes it would hurt / harm you. You will deplete your immune system , giving the viruses that cause your problem , unlimited access to your body !

Your immune system reacts against exercise as it would to any other invader to your body, and uses itself up.......fighting that invader...in this case exercise.

Take lots of hot drinks......relax and chill . Give your body the opportunity to fight back on it's own !

No, no, no....do not exercise! If you have the slightest fever it will spike and you could pass out!! Best thing for you to do is to take it easy and drink plenty of fluids.

I would not work out because of the sweating.

I would try to treat my cold with a doctors advice.
