How to change headlamp unit and/or indicator and side bulbs easily, as ther is very little space.?

Question

I have bought a Toyota Corolla 1.4vvti (2003). Does anyone have experience of changing the headlamp unit and /or the side light and indicator bulbs, as there is very little space to work in.

Raise the hood, reach in where the wires go into the bulb of the headlight, Turn the bulb holder 1/4 turn counter-clockwise. Take bulb out and replace. Return holder and turn back clockwise to secure. This works for most vehicles. Good luck

It is very fiddily, but persevere and you'll get it. On the nearside remove the battery clamp (not the wires) and you can push the battery back a bit for more access. Most modern cars have the same problem these days. Long nose pliers are useful.
