I've been wearing glasses for almost 20yrs and no they don't fix your vision.. at least generally.
sometimes though they help relax your eye muscles, because you're not straining them to see properly and your eyes can fix themselves but only in rear cases and where your eyesight isn't so bad.
on the other hand, as people age, the eyes naturally become more far sighted. so if you start wearing glasses for near-sightedness at an early age, as you grow older it is possible that your eyesight will improve but you will never quite attain 20/20 vision.

No, wearing glasses will not fix your vision. It may help slow down their deterioraton.
People who wear contact lenses have been known to have their vision improve slightly due to the gentle pressure on the eye. This is only true with certain types of vision problems.

Nope, vision evolves with time sometimes it gets better sometimes it gets worse, doesn't depend on glasses, though if you wear them always the eyes will get less stress and so they might help improve vision ever so slightly. But no, glasses don't FIX vision, no.

Once you get glasses, generally you are stuck with them for the rest of your life. There are some surgical laser techniques that will improve vision and allow some people to throw away their glasses, but glasses themselves just make living with the problem easier.

Not fixed! Lasix or some kind of surgery will fix your eyes, glasses just help you see with the eyes you have what ever condition they are in. They could slow the loss of vision by helping the eye relax with less strain. But not fix them.

Your eyes own lens may be too thick and bend light too much, focusing in front of the retina. In that case they use concave lenses to spresd the light a little so that your own lens will focus it correctly.
On the other hand, if your own lens is too thin and the focus is behind the retina, the glasses are concave to focus the light closer. your eyes then focus the light on the retina.
