I don't speak perfectly because I cannot hear everything I say. Some sounds I can hear with my hearing aid, some I cannot hear. In order to speak perfectly, one needs perfect hearing. Many people think I have an accent and am from another country, but I explain to them that I'm deaf. I'm understood by everyone despite sounding a little different than normal.

actually depending on how long they have been deaf some may talk different and some might speak more regularly. for instance if someone loses their hearing at age 10 or something they have a better idea of what they sound like. for others who have been born deaf they can only learn how to move their mouth to make sounds not hear it. also like someone else said they might not have full function of their tongue either.

my dad is deaf and he talks taht way too. It's because they can't hear themselves. I can't still understand him when he talks but it's kind of hard sometimes.

they can't exactly have full function of talking if they cant hear how its suppose to sound or how to sound it out right. Some might not have full function of their tongue
