Get a nightlight, leave the radio on talkback at a low volume, and silly as it sounds, get a kids raygun, a big noisy one with lights, so your subconscious mind knows you can deal with anything out there (test it and sleep with it handy, and a large flashlight).

This is a common problem for lots of people and this is what I reccomend.1st.Make sure all the doors and windows are locked,if you have a security alarm,set it.2nd.Check under your bed and in your closet,that's where most monsters hide.3rd.Get a gun,a big one.like a 45 magnum.4th and last,don't fall asleep because Freddy Kruger WILL come and get you in your dreams.Thank you and have a good night.

A lot of people have all kinds of fears, and I know of big strong guys who are scared of sleeping alone in the dark! So don't let people here make you feel silly, they probably have their own fears...

hug up to a pillow and have a very good watch dog with you and then if u're still afraid to go to sleep then keep a light on
