I talk to this one girl i like on msn and i make fun of her by saying she wishes she looked as good as me that she should stop eating her feelings meaning that i call her fat and ugly. She actually is not and knows im joking but could she still take it the wrong way

Dude U need To Aplogise Asap Girls Are Very Sensitive About There Weight. My Friend Was A Swim Star And Got A College Scholarship And Everything and She Was Normal Weight For Her Age And Height And A Guy Told Her One Day She Needed to lose some baby fat and that did it she was determined to lose the weight she didnt need to lose and she is no severly anorexic and got kicked out of school for health reason and has even gone so far as to escape from a hospital after a heart attack because she didnt need think she need treatment and just wanted to lose more weight. you need to aplogise and tell her u didnt mean it or u may be the cause of her death

Most women would take it the wrong way, especially if she has an eating disorder. Some women read up on eating disorders so they can get better at them. Eating ones feelings is the basis of many eating disorders. You may make her list of **sholes . In fact do you consider yourself an a**hole. Could be the basis of a wonderful, demented relationship. Learn a little more english.

There's a thin line between kidding and hurting feelings. I'm a big-time teaser, but have learned one thing over the years. If there's the slightest doubt in my mind that what I say or write could be taken as a 'hurt', I back off.
It sounds as if you have that doubt.

Well, first of all, you shouldn't have done that. Just tell her that you only said it because you like her, and you were nervous, and you had nothing else to say but insults. Also tell her that she's not really what you said she was. That should do the trick.

Yes, words can hurt whether or not they are the truth. I wouldn't tease her like that. You really could hurt her feelings and then she may not want to talk to you anymore.
