I used turbo tax they said everything was right and send it to the IRS and they also said Everything was alright. This been over a month ago this is the second delay the first was the 9 of Feb. and now the 23 of Feb, both time they said they had deposit the money

This is alert to the IRS person who answers your call that a problem of some kind exists. It will save them time by directing them to the problem. It could be something very minor or perhaps not. The 1121 reference does not distinguish between good or bad problems. Generally the taxpayer already knows if there is going to be a serious problem.

1121 means that they are reviewing your return.

I was due a deposit on 1/26 and I have been getting 1121 ever since. The IRS will not give me a reason for the delay, only that the return is being reviewed.

If you call them...they may be able to tell you why. I can tell you from personal experience that most of the reps have no idea what the 1121 means.

1121 means there is an error on your return, you have to talk to the IRS people to see what the problem is. the error could be anything, from a simple problem to something missing on the return
