Was it done in a Salon? It sounds like its not really taken to be honest. They may not have used the correct strength solution or the correct type for your hair. Go back and have a chat with them.

It probably was not a good idea to brush it the day after it was first permed even so as you said it should have sprung up again after the next shampoo. Sounds like a bad job go back to the hairdresser who permed it. Otherwise purchase a curl definer scrunching spray.

i agree that you should not have washed it so soon. and you never brush curly hair unless you want a big frizz head. get some curl enhancing shampoo. don't wash it but every 3 days or so. go to the health food store, get some aloe vera gel, not juice. it will be clear and slightly lumpy. after you have washed, conditioned and towel dried your hair, pour some aloe vera gel in you hand, squish the bumps, rub it in your hair. with a wide tooth comb, comb it gently thru. scrunch up your hair, get it to where you like it, then let it air dry completely. comb your fingers thru and it should be good. on the days you don't wash it, you can still put a hand full of gel in it. and comb it thru. it wont be smelly, sticky or greasy, the aloe will heal your hair, make it shiny and very manageable...
if this doesn't do it, call the salon, as one person said, it may not have taken..
good luck

its probably going to take more than one washing b/c of all the chemicals used to perm u hair...I wouldnt wash it too often b/c that would just cause more damage...u may want to try a shampoo for enhancing curls and also use a curl enhancing conditoner..

braid it until now you sleep, or use a curling spritz and scrunch scrunch scrunch. or perhaps use a curling mist and wad your hair up and allow it dry that way. that has a tendency to make my organic curls curlier.
