Alot!! It is much better to get artificial, or dried flower arrangements. They are just as nice, and will last a lifetime. ♥

When I got married 7 years ago it cost about $980 for my wedding. This included the bridal bouquet, a tossing bouquet, 5 attendants bouquets, flower girl basket, about 8 boutonierres, mothers' & a couple other corsages, two altar arrangements, two candelabra greeneries, and a large greenery behind the altar. The attendants bouquets and boutonierres were all roses, which run a little more. But expect inflation to raise that figure quite a bit. Real flowers are much better than silk, but if you are tight on funds silk flowers are more affordable. The bridal bouquet was the most expensive single piece - it was about $150 of the total cost, for a red rose cascade.

It depends on how many attendants you have. I have 6, my fiance has 6, there are 3 flower girls, 1 liturgist, 2 moms, 1 dad, and few arrangements at the church. We're spending about $1200. Some people say flowers aren't important but I think that they are, you'll always see them in your pictures, and they just provide that little bit of beauty and elegance to your wedding. Also what you can do is set some pretty vases out at the head table at the reception and use your bridesmaids bouquets at the head table. Also someone suggested artificial flowers....don't do it! I've been to weddings that used artificial flowers and it just looks tacky! I hope this helps...congrats on your wedding!

Flowers can get very expensive, but I figured out some ways to save money...we have had several family weddings.
The last wedding we spent about $600 and I talked the florist into letting me pay for some of it after the wedding. I found one who would let me do this and she understood I was having a hard time with the cost of everything.
Then I found out what flowers cost more, etc. It is the "wired" ones that cost the most because of the labor involved...so I cut down on a lot by wiring silk flowers for some things...like hair wreaths for children in the wedding, some of their corsages, baskets, etc.....and we had a Hawaiian wedding and used leis for the singers and the children holding programs, etc. We cut the leis in half for the kids, using two from one lei....they were ordered and not that expensive.
We put real orchids on the cake ...the large ones...which turned out to be about $5 each...and they were gorgeous.
We decorated the candles on the aisles also with silk flowers, and put live fern and baby's breath in them...they looked totally real.
Then we had the florist do the wedding bouquet, the bridesmaids, and beautinniers for the men, some corsages,
the flower girls hair wreath and basket, and a large floral arrangement for over the arch ...and two baskets at the front...all of these matched the lavender roses, small lillies, and the ocean colors of lavender, navy, and sea green in them. and the cost was about $600.
We also found a picture of the bouquet she wanted and took it to the florist which really helped her see what we wanted.
These were the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen.
At another wedding (I did this several times)...we made bouquets out of silk roses that looked totally real, put the fern in them at the last minute...put them on the bows, on the pews and the candles up front and made them "detachable" with pipe cleaners on the back, and then at the end of the wedding, lifted them off and used them on the tables for the dinner later. These were pretty large bouquets...we did one wedding in red and white for valentines...with candles and white lights this was really romantic. And they looked so real you couldn't tell they were silk. We then use only fresh flowers for those carried down the aisle, bride's bouquet and two large arrangements up front. At that time we spent a little over $100 for the silk flowers.
I would say plan for $600 at least for the florist....and add silk ones for extra decorating. You also can make your own bows....find a crafty person to do it...it takes 5 yds per bow...and use ribbon, bows, and lights at a reception as well....lighted ficus trees, etc.
You also can do creative things....like one of my daughters carried wooden violins decorated with silk flowers....she was into music, and they were really nice. We also made our own bridesmaids bouquets to look like old-fashioned valentines....you can make anything you want to.....use fans, parasols, etc....
Plan ahead...talk to the florist....and always, always go back and recheck what you have ordered...they forget!..and they will guess if you don't remind them exactly what you wanted.

I stay in Michigan. My flower fee is $seven hundred, yet i found a community florist who would not do something fairly difficult, yet nonetheless does acceptable paintings. So i replaced into able to get each and every little thing i wanted nicely decrease than what I budgeted ($1200). be beneficial to save around because of the fact the 2nd florist we went to had costs that have been double the 1st. this would not incorporate any style of centerpieces, as i'm making those myself. It does incorporate each and every little thing else: 12 boutonnieres, 8 corsages, 4 bouquets, cake flowers, altar preparations, and flowers to tuck in the napkins, and rose petals for the cake table. i did no longer could compromise on something. and don't do silk blooms for bouquets, boutonnieres, etc. i individually think of you would be apologetic approximately. i'm filling a tall rectangular vase with water and putting in a silk orchid for each of my centerpieces, yet those are the only pretend flowers i'm utilising.

Expect to pay a lot just like everything else that is associated with hosting a wedding. But really, 5 or 10 years down the road who is really gonna give a s'''t about what color or type of flowers you had at your wedding?

My flowers are around 1300. Make sure you shop around alot of places. If you find a small local place they are usually cheaper. I couldnt find one around me but my sister did pretty good at finding one smaller city. If you look online they tell you the prices some flowers are more expensive then others. I ve read in so many magazines to not do it yourself arrangments beacause it usually ends up costing you alot more money time and hassle.

It really depends on how well off you are. This question is kind of like asking how much does a car cost. The variables are too great to give a coherent answer.

I got married in NJ, USA 2 years ago. For mostly red roses and stephanotis....$2200
This included tables, cake flowers, 8 bridesmaids, 8 groomsmen, parents, grandparents, readers, petals for the flowergirl and my bouquet. We did not have to decorate the church because we got married during Lent and my church was already decorated.
