Yes, apply some salt (common table salt) to that area. And another option is to take Rescue Remedy drops, available in many health food stores.

If it's actually burned, the damage is done, but you can stop the burning from progressing and hasten healing by immediately drinking something ice cold like water or milk. Try swishing cold liquid in and out for at least five minutes.

Don't use ice directly for long periods because ice can cause damage itself.

How bad is the burn?if just from drinking hot chocolate or coffee .ThenI would say a little yogurt or milk based dessert like ice cream could help.Unless it's blistered it
should heal on it's own.

Dont drink cold water it just makes it worse. Drink a cup of warm or hot water.

seriously so it doe not blister the paramedic use this method is toothpaste,its stings at first then it keeps cool and no blister
