Lice do not "form" on the head nor are they caused by shampoo or sunshine. The scientific explanation is that lice come from contact with another person who has lice or with articles like hats or combs or brushes they have used that have lice on them.

Once on the head, the lice lay eggs that attach to the hair, called "nits" , and these eventually hatch into more lice. To get rid of them, you must kill all the live lice, and you must remove all the nits or eggs, which usually requires a special fine comb. Also, bedding, stuffed animals and furniture also may need treatment.

You don't have to be dirty or unhygenic to get lice, just social and close to the heads of other people. And there is no mystery about the cause any more than there is mystery about any other insect.

Lice are prolific little breeders. 2 week life cycle. You can catch them from the head rest in a movie theater, airplane - contact with an infected person's hair or hair clips, combs etc. Shampoo will not get rid of them. Topical poison such as Rid or such products made for the purpose. In the "old" days the head was shaved - the eggs are laid on the hair shaft not on the scalp - to get rid of them. The adult bugs leave the area looking for another host - so you could reinfect yourself or others this way. It is not a bad hygiene problem as much as a contact problem.

Lice don't form on the head; they crawl there. They just crawl from head to head and lay eggs. It doesn't have anything to do with the sun or with shampoo. (However, I have read that lice don't like shampoos with coconut oil in them, but that's probably a myth.)

By the way, hygiene doesn't have a lot to do with lice either. Actually, they have a harder time crawling on and laying eggs on dirty hair -- a kid with clean hair is more apt to get them at school. (And on the other hand, kids whose parents don't pay any attention to their hair end up keeping them longer.)

Everything that lives in the universe had a cause to be created by Allah, and you are giving lice a way to your head by not keeping your self clean.

Lice has to feed on the blood so where would it live if not in your hair.

You should take a bath daily if you don't like them.

has nothing to do with hygeine, actually the nit preferes to lay its eggs in clean hair. You catch them when they jump from someone who has them to you.........the nit is a living thing, You need special shampoo from the pharmacy and a special comb to get rid of this problem
