Please discard it. Once it gets to a certain temperature, bacteria starts to grow and can make you very sick.

Hey Robin,
I wouldn't take any chances. I'd be afraid of salmonella poisoning ! It happened to my sister-in-law when she was
pregnant with her first baby, she got really bad cramps as
did her hubby, they went to the ER, because they were also
throwing up. They had to induce her at 7 months pregnant,
because the baby was in distress ! The baby was taken
to a children's hospital because they could not figure out
what was wrong. After blood tests and several other done
on both my sister-in-law, her hubby, and the baby, they
said that it was salmonella poisoning from the chicken !
Don't eat it ! Be safe !

If the entire chicken is still freezing cold, it's okay. But if the outside of it is room temp when you touch it, toss that chicken! (My hubby is a health inspector, and he would actually tell you that you need to toss it no matter what, but we've done stuff like that before at home, he he has felt the outside of it to see if it's still really cold.)

i advise you to toss it. chicken is to cheap to risk the chance of salmonella poisoning. just looked up and saw the 20hr. time frame. definitely chuck it ! in the future defrost in the refrigerator or if you are in a hurry a large bowl of cold water, changing the water frequently.

If it is still cold I'd use it. If it is room temperature I'd throw it out.
