It will tell you if you need a visa and if you do how to apply for one.

You have to answer a short questionnaire.
1. The purpose of your visit.
2.Country of nationality.
3.Current location.
and all the relevant information will then be given.

No visa to UK for vacation depend with country you are coming from.
However long term for such thing like study or working, you will need to have to a visa.
Please check with the British Embassy, they should have paper work and more information on what need to be done.
