Any dog shampoo is alright for bathing your dog. I put several drops of Tea Tree Oil in as well. Not only will it make them smell clean, it aids in helping with some skin problems. I have also used Dial bar soap on puppies to rid them of fleas. ( tip I learned from my breeder) Daily grooming will take care of a lot of problems. Not only does it help the dog, it gives the two of you some quality time. My kids love to be cuddled and rubbed. They have no idea that they are being combed or groomed.

Never use human shampoo on a dog, no matter how much you like the smell. It will dry your dog's skin out.

None, it washes out the natural oils that protect their skin and gives rise to skin infections and allergies. If my dogs roll in mud, I hose them down , simple as that.

The more you scrub your dog, the more will it be determined to get dirty. Groom and brush your dog regularly, you will not need a shampoo and your dog will have a great coat and a healthy skin, too. Dog shampoos are made for dog shampoo manufactureres, and their valets. Buy your dog a fresh lamb joint, instead. He will love it.

A lifetime multiple dog owner without a single skin rash or allergy, ever!

Whatever crap they had at target. It's called just add water or something like that in a coconutty-oatmeal smell. I think nutrition is way more important to the coat than the shampoo...I usually give him a water bath anyway unless shampoo is completely necessary.

I have two different ones. One contains tea tree oil for the dog with the allergies. The other is an oatmeal shampoo for the retrievers. All are very mild and are for dogs.

PLEASE do not use Hartz products. We see SO many pets that come into our clinic that uses that product, that are having seizures/convulsions. And if you say 'my pet does not react to that product'...dream on, you're probably causing it to have Liver problems that will show up down the road.

You should use a product your Veterinarian recommends such as Hylyt.
