Mostly people don't understand the concept of free will. God, being God, make man capable of making is own decisions. People think God can just jump in and change whatever He doesn't like but by giving us free will He has set a boundary for Himself and humanity. His desire is for us to choose to follow Him rather than force us. Unfortunately, it leaves the door open for people to equate the actions of people with God and his desires. Therefore, God gets blamed for what people do.

I'm an Atheist...is not now, never was or ever will be some god...but I'm going to address this anyway. You Christian believers like it both ways. On one hand you say your god gave man free will to do what he wants but then you say he controls all things in your lives. He tells you to love one another in one Biblical verse and in another it says it's okay to hate. "Thou shalt not kill" is a commandment but then there is that old "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" thing. War is okay and so is killing if it is necessary. How can it be necessary if the commandment says not to kill? Seems to me your god is one confused SOB. Why do Christians profess love and then turn around and hate a person simply because of his or her sexual orientation? If this god controls everything, then why is there so much hunger? Why would this god allow a church to invest millions in remodeling and not instruct the congregation to take those millions and feed the hungry? Why does this god allow two small children to be strapped in their car seats by their own mother and then the car is pushed into a lake? God controls everything right? That's what you Christians keep saying. So if god controls everything then he must control this hate and evil as well, I'm thinking. I'm delighted I am an Atheist. Why? Because I don't hate anyone. And most of the evil I see done in this world is by some people saying they are doing it in the name of their god.

Because the Bible states god created evil and let sin into the garden, ofcourse its fictional. I no more blame god than I blame the easter bunny.

Who's place is it to set rules on life No-One's (Christians), what may be a sin to you may not be to others. sin's and evil can only be judged by yourself you are the one who has to live with what you do not god. live life the way you want set your own rules (within the Law of course) , Mabey some people should be a little less judgmental.

I think may be it's because He is the one who has all power and is never tainted by evil. If he wanted he could put an end to everything evil in a moment.

God is in complete control and does as he please. So most people would hold God accountable for all the bad stuff that's happening.

For the one ahead of me who thinks the Bible states that God created evil, I never found that in my Bible. So you are mistaken.
People do that because they misunderstand that this is a fallen world and they believe that God created the fall.
He created all that was good.

God created Man in God's image.

Just read gtahvfaith's answer. Mature people equals Christians. LOL! The egocentric arrogance is hilarious, yet frightening.

Because we are like little children who disobey and then blame someone else. It takes mature people (christians) to admit that they are sinners and to take the blame upon themselves. Thankfully we don't have to take the punishment as well. Praise Jesus
