I've failed to graduate from my previous university now i would like to join a new university and graduate, my father claims he does not have money to spend on my studies anymore. But I'm sure if he can spend money on me this time i WILL make it and i have a very bright future. Please tell me how to convince him so that I may receive help from him for my studies. Thanks.

Sadly, I believe you are going to have to prove it to him! But, that doesn't mean, and I say this with the utmost respect, he will have the money to send you! It is possible that, at the time, your father did have the money to send you! But, times are a bit rough and it is quite possible that the money just isn't there!
If you believe he does have the money, it's time for you to get up and prove to him your ready to go back to school. Go to the University and get every bit of information you will need about the courses you will be taking. Don't ask him for anything, until this is done. Don't even ask him for a ride! Do it on your own!
How much are the classes you want? When are the classes held? How long are these courses? Do they have grants available that can assist in the financial cost so that your Father will not have to support the whole burden? How will you get there each day? Do you have a part time job? If not, do you expect your father to pay for all of the extras too?
You need to be responsible for this! Even if your Father does agree to pay, this time, what proof can you give him that you will give 150%? It may not be a matter of not having the money at all! Your Father may not trust you enough to finish something he will loose money on, again, should you decide to give it up!
There is a lot to think about!
When you have touched every avenue, put it all in a folder and hand it to him. Prepare an itemized cost from beginning to end that will help him see where his money is going! Included all payments from grants and loans, you yourself have aquired! This will be a big help!
Good Luck

Regardless of your fathers ability to pay, now or later, I feel you took his efforts for granted. Give a little/take a little! Seems as though daddy may be tired of you taking and him giving. If you are sincere in your wanting to follow through with your education, if it means as much to you as you say, then in all fairness, you should be responsible and put as much up to lose as daddy has and maybe he may be more willing to put his hard earned and well deserved greenbacks on you. After all, if daddy's help means this much to you, we are not only talking pocket change! Dad did not get where he is on a silver platter, I'm sure!!! Good Luck

Get a job and go to a local college for a year.

Save your money.

In a year, show dad what you have saved towards your education.

I don't blame him for withholding.

Show him how determined you are.

how about you convince him by getting a job and saving your own money to pay for your schooling?

he will certainly believe you then

you already had your chance at a free education and you blew it.
