What gadgets are good for college / classrooms?

erm... the C-pen is seriously ugly...
i saw the virtual keyboard... UMPCs, the docupen batteries cost a bomb,
and i m getting the epos digital pen but thats in may when its released =/
anyone got any suggestions what gadgets are useful? docupens would be hella good if i knew where to get rechargable small round batteries >.> but yea...
hope to get some suggestions...

A good digital camera, so you take snapshots of what is on the white board.

Pencil and paper are always low cost and very useful
