Reverse therapy: one gets in a car slams it into reverse and drives 4 miles that way?

Reverse therapy: the mentally ill counsels the psychiatrist?

Okay, so get off the drugs.

If you want something that would change your life, try this: Have a baby, become a prostitute, get paralyzed, set a goal in life to eat 42 cherries every day, there are a 1000 things or more that you can do to 'change your life.'

You don't cure depression most of the time, you manage it. Quit losing your life to a disorder. You are obviously functioning enough to own/have/use a computer and post such a question, so start utilizing your time differently. You appear to be playing with moss/gardens whatever. Those years aren't lost, maybe partially wasted, though I'm not sure if it's fair to blame the drugs, as opposed to not holding yourself accountable enough to get your a$s out there and 'live.'

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh whoops. Okay - stops and thinks:: *searches memory bank for the concept of reverse therapy* *BAM!* It's that new approach involving the body and mind to try to address the glandular problems that we think are leading to things like ME . The internal blocks you have never trigger the gland so the hypothalamus doesn't kick into gear etc. okay I get it. So it sucks when the hypothal isn't working right. You do realize that ME is a physical disorder and not psychological? The depression may come about as part of your choice in how you react to the debilitating crap of the ME, but it doesn't have to be. Okay, so yeah the depression is likely to be lightened or reduced when the reverse therapy takes place and gets the hypothal adjusted to where it should be, but you will still need to start taking responsibility for your role in the depression and thoughts you choose.

Um, yeah, so I would say GO FOR IT - get the reverse therapy - can't hurt. But remember while we can not control every reaction and action, we CAN control our reaction and/or perception of the event...................

To tell you the truth No. But I just may be able to point you in the right direction to help you get your answer..
Though I do suffer from C.F.S (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) which is often mistaken for M.E. & visa versa.
ME is an accutley aquired illness that is initiated by a virus, unlike CFS. Reverse therapy does not help me, but instead makes me worse. We are caught between the devil & the dark blue sea! I feel for you. But God is with us! I don't even have the strenght to get up & go to Church. Yet I do believe in Our Lord & know he's there.
I have however found a website that you would probably be very interested in & that is 'A Hummingbirds Guide to M.E. :: Information on Myalgic Encephalomyelitis',
I hope this helps you as it is soo debilitating isn't it?
