so fed up of feeling ill all the time, my doctor doesn't seem to be any help either. somebody told me that Acidopholus helps is this true?

Anything with peppermint in it, I cant list many because I dont remember off hand but Buscopan, and Equilon are very good having had that trouble in the past so other than that plenty of fluids, exercise and change of diet are usually good too.

I know how awful it is but believe me make these changes and you should see some headway

I tend to stick to peppermint oil capsules bought from health food stores. These contain peppermint oil only with no chemical ingredients added. It's a more natural way of taking peppermint. I have the extra strength ones and take one in the morning and one in the evening. I buy mine from Holland & Barrett. They also sell peppermint oil drops which can be added to water and may be better for people who cannot take capsules.

Aloe Vera juice taken in a glass of squash, instant relief, available through health food stores. Holland and Barrett if in the UK. Feel better soon.

Peppermint oil is said to help. You should go to your nearest herbal shop. They will be able to give best advice.
